Engineering, Tech, TeX, and Numbers. Lots of Numbers.
LaTeX is useful, but collaborating on a document can be a pain. Emailing a .tex back and forth takes way too long. Sharing it through Dropbox works slightly better, but is prone to conflicted copies if two individuals try to edit at once. What to do?
ShareLaTeX is the answer. It offers a free, full-featured, browser-based LaTeX editor and compiler, and provides features for real-time collaboration and editing. Additional features include a revision history, integration with Dropbox, and key-bindings that make the editor feel like Vim or Emacs.
